This is the first of our regular Business Startup meetings.
The meeting will be in two parts - First, a guest speaker - Brad Julicher this week. Brad's talk will be about 1/2 hr, with another 1/2 hr for questions and discussion.
Second, a round table discussion about current business endeavours, questions and challenges being faced from those who would like to talk about their stuff.

My wife and I ran a small business in downtown Victoria for over 10 years. Starting from sales in our living room and local craft markets and growing to trade shows and then commercial retail spaces. I will try and share some of the lessons and failures learned over that time including accounting, business to business sales, manufacturing, commercial and retail space rentals and hiring staff.
